Description
"Rabbit's foot. A 1 3/4 inch high rabbit's foot with red beading trim, looking like a man. The Plains Indians believe that if you carry a rabbit's foot, it will being you good luck. I (Cleora Helbing) was given many, but I always gave them to other people who were interested in having them. In storage some of my most beautiful ones had the fur eaten off them, so I had to burn them."

2007 - This artifact still has the rabbit's hair and toes visible beneath the beading.
