Description

A crocheted beer can hat (A) made by a member of the Hart family with handwritten (B) and printed (C) instructions.

A - The hat is made of various colors of acrylic yarn, but the majority of it is purple. The maker used Tom Moore Orange Soda cans, Royal Crown Cola cans, and Coca-Cola cans to form the crown of the hat. The brim is about 1.5 inches and crocheted entirely in purple. Holes were punched through the unrolled soda cans and yarn was threaded through. 

B - A set of handwritten instructions on how to construct the hat are written on a sheet of lined composition paper in pencil. 

C - A set of printed instructions on how to make the hat pictured here with rectangular cut cans, as well as a set of instructions for crocheting a hat with oval cut cans.
