Description
A Wyandotte toy pop gun that was owned by Cyril Hart (1925-2003).

The gun is made of steel with a wooden handle, the finish of which has rubbed off. According to the manufacturer, the handle is made of walnut. The gun has a break-action and can be opened at the hinges near the handle for corks to be loaded in. However, due to significant rusting, the gun cannot be opened or operated without risking damage. Each of the barrels connects to their own triggers, and, according to the manufacturer, produced a loud report when fired.

Near the end of the barrels, there are springs on the inside. These springs can be moved with attached handles standing out from the bottom of the barrels.

An inscription on the barrel reads, "All Metal Products Co. / Wyandotte Mich U.S.A. / Bat #1979963." The pop gun is likely All Metal Products Co.'s No. 34 Double Barrel Pop Gun. All Metal Products Co. was active from 1920 to 1957, but this gun was likely made in the 1930s or 1940s.
