Postcard photograph of downtown Glenwood. A view of East Minnesota Avenue looking West.
You can see up and down the street: Millinery, dress makers, Pool Parlor, Glenwood Mercantile Co., T. Callaghan Hardware, Hershman's Department Store, Minton Hotel, Garage, Drug store, Glenwood State Bank, The Rogers restaurant and bakery, Roger's Hotel, cafe, Rex Theatre. Note the many horses (horse poop) AND cars in the photo. The water fountains, the lake in the background. A small dog sits on the side of the road. We estimate the year to be 1916-1918.
