Description
Cast iron replica of the Liberty Bell on a wooden base. Two metal plates are affixed to the base, one on either side. One of the plates reads, "This replica of the Liberty Bell was cast at the request of Len Swedlund for the City of Minnetonka, Minnesota in Commemoration of the Bicentenary of the American Revolution 1776-1976." The plate on the reverse side reads, "Cast at the Whitechapel Bell Foundry, London, England to their Original Designs of the Liberty Bell made in the same Foundry in the Year of Our Lord 1752."
