Description
This is a manually operated corn planter. Two flat parallel boards fastened together at one end to a spring steel plate that opens and closes. At the opposite end are opposing wood handles facing outward. Handles move in and out motion. On the outside board is a rectangular tin box with a wooden lid to hold seed. Between the boards is a metal strip with a hole seed dropper that goes from the box to a hollow metal seed dropping tube that goes from the box to the spring steel point at the bottom.
