2000.030 .023-A     U.S. Air Medal consisting of sixteen-pointed circular sunburst, in center of which is bold American eagle clutching lightning bolts in his talons. Fleur-de-lis-shaped attachment connects top of medal to ring which attaches ribbon to medal. Ribbon is blue field with two vertical gold stripes. Reverse of ribbon has clasp attachment.
