Description
.019A Used on homefront. Sculptured glass jar with screw top metal lid. This lid has a slit in the middle and has the following imprinted in black: (jar filled with red/blue ration coins) BATTLESHIP PREPARED MUSTARD Brand Highest Quality Packed by "Wm. S. Scull Co. Dayton, Ohio Net Wt. 5 ozs. Made From Mustard Seed, Vinegar, Salt, Tumeric, and other spices."
.019B Interior of this jar contains 175 red, heavy pressed paper OPA ration coins 1 point coins and 2 blue chips ration coins. NOTE: Red ration coins (tokens) were used for meats and fat. Blue ration coins used for processed foods. Toking went into use in 1944 and stopped in 1945. size of coins--thickness-.063" diameter .625"
