Moby's Map of Northwest Canada and parts of Alaska, 1943 includes the Al Can Highway  which runs from Alaska to Washington State was completed in 1942, and opened to the public in 1948.  There are several signatures around the edge of the map including: Charles Marks, Ralph Bosacker, Carl Gilbertson, and Frank McLaughlin, all from Marshall and Frank Foby from Tracy. They all worked on the Al Can highway.
