Description

One of a pair of Redwork embroidery on white linen pillow covers. Single layer of fabric intended to decoratively lay on top of a pillow rather than encase a pillow. The text on this cover reads: "Good Night." Surrounded by a spray of morning glory flowers.  The matching pillow cover reads:  "Good Morning."   Popular in the late 1880s and 1890s.
