Description
Megow authentic ship model kit with instructions. 1938. Admiral Bird's ship, Bear of Oakland, kit #G17. Original box, unassembled. Henry Seifert of Minneapolis received this model kit shortly before he enlisted in the U.S. Navy to serve during WW2, so he never assembled the model. This ship was very popular at the time for being used on Admiral Bird's second and third Antarctic expeditions.Related People and Organizations
