Description
Highway sign for the Little Crow Trail. This square metal marker has the distinctive markings of the Little Crow Trail, which started at Alexandria and went south through Terrace to Willmar. The trail designation was made in 1924 to boost tourist travel. The road is known today as Pope County Highway 21. Painted black with the letters L and T in white, and a black crow with a white eye within a white evergreen design. The sign is outlined in white. The back of the sign is painted white and has a label from the Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing Company, St. Paul. It is coated with Scotchlite reflective material.Geographic Notes
