Description

This 3 piece Air Force uniform was owned and worn by Richard  Allen DeHoux
( 9-11-1953 to 8-03-2024). He was the son of Jake and Phyllis DuHoux and grew up on the family farm at St. John's Lake. He enlisted in the United States Air Force in March of 1973 and served in Vietnam. Richard was a member of VFW Post 1639 and the American Legion Post 167 for 48 years.
o9402.1  Navy blue jacket with sergeant stripe patch on both sleeves. The jacket closes with 4 silver military buttons Two chest pockets close with silver buttons and 2 hip pockets close with silver buttons. There is one open pocket in the lining on the right side. A tag at the inside back neckline reads;  39R 8405-935-2792. Each shoulder has an epaulette secured with a silver button.
o9402.2   One pair of navy blue pleated trousers with front hip pockets and back hip pockets, one open and one closes with a button. A size tag reads  Regular W-32  L-34 8405-935-2731.
o9402.3  Light blue, collared, short sleeved shirt.  A sergeant stripe patch is on the left sleeve. Two button closed pockets are at the chest area.  The fabric is polyester cotton- blue shade 1550. Care directions are written on the tag.  A small tag on the inside right placket reads: C W I7  16 is stamped.
