Set of 16 prints "La Mode Illustree", 10" x 13' all pictures of two women in period clothing (period unknown), in a fancy scrapbook cover, 10 1/2" x 13 7/8", heavy cardboard, highly decorated, with pictures pasted inside, front and back covers not attached. Also in scrapbook cover: various other prints, all unidentified. From Florence Emeny's antique store. Stored in a white paper bag. On white paper bag" "Fashion plates/ advertising cards". Prints fit this description but seem to have been collected in scrapbook for aesthetic reasons. Therefore they are being catalogued as Commerical Decorative Art rather than as Advertising medium.
