Title

Glenwood HS Sport Scrapbook

Creation Date

1932 – 1934

Description

Scrapbook of the 1932-1934 sports teams of Glenwood High School. It includes a photograph of the 1932 Football District Champs. Stanly Ness was a senior and certainly in the photo. Phillip Ness was a sophmore and possibly in the photo.
Most of the book is newspaper clippings, but it also contains a photograph taken in a studio of four young men holding empty beer bottles.
There is also a photograph on a young man in a football uniform. Presumably Stanley or Phillip Ness.
The last newspaper clippings are for Sophie R. Ness's obituary March 13, 1927 (Mother of Phillip and Stanley) and newspaper article about the death of Phillip in 1934 when his car fell through the ice.
There are a few family snapshots in the back. None of the photos are identified, other than the 1932 football team.
S. Ness is written on the cover, so we assume that most of it was compiled by Sophie Ness.
