Black and white photo of the Soo Line Railroad track at Highway 29 north of Glenwood is being torn up so that the wood ties and railbed at the crossing can be replaced with a combination wood-tie rubber bed. While Highway 29 will be closed for two weeks, resulting in a detour through Lowry, the track must be installed and then taken back out to allow train traffic to continue, The track was closed for about 12 hours on Tuesday but was scheduled to open at 7 p.m. to allow train traffic through, The Lowry detour will continue through next week.
