Description
"This beaded, pouch-style purse has an oval shaped base and drawstring top. It measures 9 inches long by 4 3/4 inches wide. The outside is of rough black leather while the inside is smooth. The entire oval base is heavily beaded in circular and triangular designs of white, aqua, red-brown and black beads. This purse comes from the Cree Indians of Rocky Boys Reservation (Grosventers). These Indians are considered to be the finest beaders of all."
