Description
Photograph of a group of men with musical instruments on a raised platform. A handwritten note on the back says Courthouse Bandstand, but it is the bandstand in Starbuck. The drum reads: Starbuck Cornet Band. A piece of paper taped to the photo contains the following names:
Victor Larson, John Flow, Tilman Smedstad, Edwin Amundson, Johnannes Berg, Olaf (Ole?) Lysgaard, Emil Larson, O. E. Larson, Kolben Hjelle, Alfred Gorder, Melvin Gorder, Adolph Nordstrom, Edwin Byhre, Martin Stoen, and C. A. Townsend. Many of the names were misspelled. The note also says the photo was taken about 1910.
