Woman's short fitted cape in black velvet, tailored panels in front and back, hooks and eyes closing the cape in front, elbow-length cape sleeves, black lace along edges of neck and sleeves, heavy jet bead work and bead fringe in front and back and on sleeves and stand-up collar, cape lined with black satin, ribbon attached to the back panel inside and would tie around the waist, velvet is discolored with brown spots (perhaps caused by jet beads).
