Papers, newsletters, reports, communications, maps, guides and other materials related to the Cannon River specifically in the Rice County and Northfield areas. The majority of the materials relate to the management plan for the Cannon River proposed by the Minnesota Department of Natural resources in the late 1970s. Other materials include canoe maps and guides, analysis of the Cannon River embankment, and polution tests/reports from 1969 and 1928-1930. Some materials also relate to the Straight River.
