Description

Postcard with horizontal illustration of a girl in a purple dress turned away from the viewer.  She wears a straw bonnet with a black ribbon, has black shoes.  White eyelet pantaloons peek out under her dress.  She holds a large daffodil in her right hand.  A brown rabbit sits next to her and another pulls a wagon made from a half egg shell.  Colored eggs ride in and fall out of the wagon in blue, green purple and yellow.  Text in black:   "I'm eggsceeding the limit of speed to eggspress Best wishes for Easter to someone - now guess."  On the back there is a short dividing line above which are crossed laurel branches and the text: Post Card, Whitney Made Worcester Mass.  There is no square for a stamp, and the card was hand delivered and not mailed.  On the side for address only in ink:  “From Laurence Palmquist to Alice Kelley.”
