Description

This item is a wood or coal fired cast iron cookstove. It rests on four decorative cast iron legs connected to a base plate at the bottom of the stove. There is a small rectangular brass nameplate at the lower  center of the stove with the manufacturing information and address. Above the nameplate is a rectangular oven door with a round glass temperature gauge in the upper center of a door is a white porcelain grab handle. Inside the oven is a grate to select the level desired. To the left of the oven door is a small square door to insert fuel to the cookstove. On the front of the fuel door are the words Sanic O Coral. Inside the fuel door are cast iron grates for the wood to set on. On the far left side of the stove is a rectangular flip up door exposing the inside of the firebox. At the left side of the stove is a sliding vent to adjust the airflow to the firebox. Below the firebox is a small square cleanout drawer to catch and dispose of the ashes.  The top cooking surface of the stove is all cast iron. It consists of six round plates evenly spaced. There are three removable sections on the stove top each have two round cast iron plates. The entire stovetop can be disassembled for cleanup and maintenance. The back wall is solid and supported by curved iron brackets. At the top of the stove are two rectangular warming boxes that sit parallel side by side. They have small grab handles and open from the top down. The stove also has a iron handle to lift the plates on the stovetop and a small poker to stir the fire. Included are four metal feet that would sit on the floor below the legs of the stove.
