Affidavit for the renewal of Chattel Mortgage to C. Aultman & Co The within Affidavit was filed in my office and annexed to the Mortgage therein described on the 16th day of Aug 1883, at 7 o'clock am. Joseph Baltes/Clerk of New Market Town,/Scott co., Minnesota. The State of Ohio/Stark County, Henry C. Fogle, being duly sworn, deposes and says that he is Secretary and Treasurer, and Ex-Officio Manager of the Incorporated Company of C. Aultman & Co., of Canton, Stark County, Ohio, the Mortgagee named in the annexed Mortgage; that he makes this affidavit for and in its behalf and is duly authorized so to do: That Ole N Christopherson and Lewis Gilbertson of Scott County, Minnesota, on the 26th day of August , 1881, Mortgaged to the said Incorporated Company of C. Aultman & Co. certain Chattel Property, which Mortgage was filed on the 10th day of Sept, 1881, with the Clerk of New Market Township at New Market, Scott County, Minnesota, to secure the payment of $460.00 and interest from the 26th day of August 1881, and being the same Mortgage to which this affidavit is attached, and that there is now due, and unpaid, to said C. Aultman & Co., on said Mortgage $360.00 and interest from the 26th day of August 1881, at 7 per cent. from date to maturity, and at 10 per cent. after maturity, as provided, which said sum constitutes the interest which the said C. Aultman & Co has by virtue of said Mortgage, in the property therein mentioned. Henry C Fogle/Subscribed and sworn to before me, this 13th day of August 1883/Herman C. Blum/Notary Public Affidavit for the renewal of a chattel mortgage between Ole N. Christopherson and Lewis Gilbertson of New Market and C. Aultman & Co. It was filed in New Market on August 16, 1883 at 7am. Joseph Baltes, New Market's town clerk, signed off on the filing. 

The affidavit is a mix of pre-printed and handwritten text. It reads: 
The State of Ohio
Stark County,
Henry C. Fogle, being duly sworn, deposes and says that he is Secretary and Treasurer, and ex-Officio Manager of the Incorporated Company of C. Aultman & Co., of Canton, Stark County, Ohio, the MOrtgage named in the annexed Mortgage; that he makes this affidavit for and in its behalf and is duly authorized so to do;

Aultman & Co. certain Chattle [sic] Property, which Mortgage was filed on the 10" day of Sept 1881, with the Clerk of New Market Township at New Market, Scott County, Minnesota, to secure the payment of $460.00 and interest from the 26" day of August 1881, and being the same Mortgage to which this affidavit is attached, and that there is now due, and unpaid, to said C. Aultman & Co., on said Mortgage, $360.00 and interest from the 26" day of August 1881, at 7 percent, from date to maturity, and 10 per cent, after maturity, as provided, which said sum constitutes the interest which the said C. Aultman & Co. has, by virtue of said Mortgage, in the property therein mentioned.

"B110" is written in black ink in the lower left corner of the document. There is a raised "notarial seal" for Stark County pressed into the paper to the lower left of the Fogle and Blum signatures. "10" is written in black ink in the upper right corner of the document.
