Description

This eyelet and snapper plier metal tool is enclosed in its original paper and plastic package. The plier is made of metal and measure 7 1/4" x 2 1/4" x 3/4". At the nose of the plier are two 1/2 " round pads...one red, one gray. At the center of these is a metal "hole and rod" feature. The depth of the rod is adjustable by a connected screw on the outside of the plier nose. Near the riveted fulcrum of the plier are eng raved words that read, "J. Dritz & Sons" on one side and "Made in U.S.A.". Attached to the inside of the fulcrum rivet is a metal spring wire that creates some pressure in working of the plier. The cardboard and plastic package front housing the plier is printed in red and black letters, The title reads, "Dritz Eyelet and Snapper Plier Kit. $1.98" Below that is an illustrated drawing of using the pliers to apply eyelets. On the back of the package are  8 drawings and detailed directions on how to use the pliers to attach eyelets and snappers. At the bottom of the page are the manufacturer's information reading, "Joh Dritz & Sons, Inc. N.Y. 10, N.Y. Copyright 1961 Patent Pending.
