Description

The silver flute is stored in three separate pieces. The mouthpiece is a 10 inches long tube, 7/8 inches in diameter. One end has a domed cap with a notched edge that is attached to an inner screw. The other end has a silver end cover 1 5/8 inches long. The 1 7/8 x 2 inch mouthpiece is made of 3/16 inch silver, curved to connect to the silver tube. The mouthpiece has a ½ inch hole at the center. The central portion of the silver flute is 13 ½ inches long and has a ½ inch silver protective cap at one end. The other end is 1 inch in diameter with ¼ inch ringed end. Near that end is an etched name of the manufacturer, “Leon Aubert.” The key portion of the flute is 11 inches long and has 10 padded ¾ inch silver keys 10 additional smaller keys of various shapes and sizes. All keys are movable and are connected to 3 long silver 3/16 inch rods. The silver end piece of the flute is 5 ¼ inch long and 7/8 inches in diameter. Both ends have a 3/16 inch ringed end. There are 3 padded movable keys, each ¾ inches in diameter. There are 3 smaller keys of various shapes. All keys are connected to a 3/16 inch silver rod.
