Description

This war bridle is made of a series of ropes and straps tied or fastened together by buckles, clamps, or heavy wires. One white ⅓ inch rope piece measures 34 inches long, knotted and wired at both ends and fastened to other pieces of the bridle. One tan ¾ inch rope measures 7 inches long and is connected to two decorative metal pieces at each end. That rope is secured at each end by a black metal clamp with a black metal loop that is inserted in the center of each decorative metal piece. Each of decorative metal pieces are 3/16 inch thick and 3 ½ inches in diameter. There are 5 metal cross pieces with a one inch center circle with a ¾ inch diameter opening. There are two more strap pieces on this bridle. The shortest strap is made of 9/8 inch wide medium brown belting, 27 inches long. One end is looped onto a decorative metal piece and secured with a black metal buckle. The other end of the belting has a black clamp with a small pulley that has the white rope attached. The second piece of brown belting is 64 inches long and is attached to one end of the white rope with a combination of a looped buckle, D buckle, knotted rope, and wire clamps.
