This is a set of 3 heavy tan felt ankle boots for a horse. Each boot is a little different. The largest one, when opened, measure 13 x 6 ½ “ and has 5 buttons and 5 buttonholes. There is a leather strap sewn to the bottom of the boot that attaches to the side of the boot with a ¾ inch metal buckle. Two seams and bottom edges are reinforced with seam binding and grosgrain ribbon. The top edge of the boot is also reinforced with a ¼ inch plastic strip. The inside of the boot is stamped with the numbers 465 9 in black ink. The other two smaller boots are nearly identical except the are made in reverse for opposite feet of the horse. Each tan boot has 4 buttons and buttonholes. The opened boot measure 12 x 5” and is made of heavy tan felt. Each boot has a 6 inch leather strap sewn to the boot on one end with a buckle sewn to the boot for the other end. The inside of the boots are reinforced with seam binding and grosgrain ribbon and have ¼ inch plastic strip at the top edge of the boot. Each boot has the same number stamped on the inside reading 287 1 6.
