Description
Black, satin women's shoes with a 2 in. Louis heel and pointed toe lined in white leather. They are embroidered with silver and gold steel beads in the pattern of a triangle at the base and a floral design climbing up the tongue of the shoe. A beaded strap goes across the top of the shoe and closes with two buttons. They were worn by Mrs. R. B. Langdon in 1868 in Minneapolis. Donated in 1945 by Mrs. W.F. Brooks of Minneapolis.
