Description
Small booklet given to Bloomington Ferry School students at the end of the school year by their teacher, Mrs. Elizabeth V. Pehoushek. Embossed paper cover has images of a winged globe, feather pen, architects pen, flame torch and an open book with the illustration of a castle. Inside lists the names of the students at the one-room school that year, names of School Board members, and several poems or inspirational quotes. The back cover has a black & white illustration of the 1776 Liberty Bell, Landing of Columbus 1492, Signing of the Declaration of Independence 1776, Perry on Lake Erie 1813, The Blue and the Gray 1865, American Fleet in Manilla Bay 1898 and Annual Peace Conference. Dated 1913-1914.
