Description

Dr. Amanda Rappaport is a veterinarian at the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in Minnesota. She received her undergraduate degree in biology from Hobart and William Smith College in 2015 and received her doctorate of veterinary medicine from Midwestern University in 2019. She has recently published an article in the Journal of Zoo and Wildlife Medicine on Chronic Gastric Instability in Didelphis virginiana. 


In this Interview, Dr. Rappaport discusses her unconventional journey to becoming a veterinarian. She talks about memorable cases she's had during her time at the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center and encourages future vets to find something to be passionate about in veterinary medicine. She ends the interview encouraging future vets to forge their own path to becoming veterinarians.
