Family Bible 1848 originally “presented to Mrs. Susan Dunning by her children Ithica Sept. 187?” Covered in protective plastic wrap. Family genealogy pages have been filled out in elaborate calligraphy for the Austin and Dunning families from 1794 through 1830. The dates pick up again in 1902-1958 for the Austin-Bogardus, Dean and Mosher families in blue ink. These were probably added in the 1960s when the Bible was passed down to a new generation.
Marriages: Eliphalet Austin born June 11th 1794 and Susan Bunday born Dec 20th 1800 were Married Oct. 4th 1818. Gabriel Dunning and Mrs. Susan Austin were Married Nov. 4th 1840.
