Jennifer Ponce is a veterinary technician assistant at the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center of Minnesota. She graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in animal science in (year). She was an intern at the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center before becoming a veterinarian technician assistant where she managed the bird nursery.
In this interview, Jennifer Ponce discusses how she got her internship at the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center and how it led to her current position. She shares some of the challenges of managing the bird nursery and some patients that have stuck out to her during her time at WRC. She concludes the interview discussing some challenges that she faces in the veterinary field as well as offering her hopes that veterinary technicians will be more recognized for their work.
