Description

This 77 page guidebook to Thomas Jefferson's home and farm has a tan cardboard cover with a color photo of the home. The back cover has a color photo of the opposite side of his home with the name ‘Monticello’ in large black print. The front cover has a fold out of sculptor's bust of Jefferson and a labeled drawing of the Monticello home and farm. The back cover has a fold out of a painting of Martha Jefferson and hand drawn map of the the Monticello farm. The book contains illustrations and detailed descriptions of the home, the gardens, the orchards and the roads at Monticello. At the end of the book, it gives details about Jefferson's life and instructions for his burial. Copyright date is 1967.
