Description

Boot shaped elaborately beaded pincushion created by a Native American bead artist for the tourist trade around Niagara Falls, NY. It features Iroquois tribe style beadwork with raised layers of clear glass beads.  Firmly stuffed with sawdust.  There is an opening in the top to hold items like thimble or scissors, with a firmly stuffed area for a pincushion. Rose pink fabric under clear glass beading with accent beads in red, light blue and gold. Gold sequins.  Dark brown leather-look backing, possibly chintz.
