Description

Metal table-top hand-crank butter churn. A tin tub sits inside a sturdy “L” bracket metal frame which has the crank shaft attached.  It has a hinged tab at the bottom on one side. The tub has a divided wooden top with porcelain handles. It has a drain hole on one corner, and two wire carrying handles on the upper rim. The wood churn dash is a six-pointed star shape at the bottom of a vertical spindle. The churn dash rod can be removed by lifting on a spring-loaded collar.  This allows the tin box to be removed from the framework.  The hand crank and gear mechanism is missing.
