Description
Framed 5x7 photograph of a painting of the Reed house on Old Shakopee Road in Bloomington. Original painting is 16" x 20" and was painted by Elizabeth Reed Amadon, granddaughter of L.A. Reed who purchased the house in 1896 from the Brousseau/Findley family. The original center part of the house was built in 1869-1872. Originally a summer home, the house was remodeled in the 1940s to be a year-round residence. The house is still standing, and is considered a historic structure in Bloomington, MN.
