Description

Safe Conduct Pass to be honored by all Vietnamese Government Agencies and Allied Forces. Colored paper the size of local currency.  One side has flags of various allied nations including the United States of America, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, the Philippines and Thailand surrounding the yellow and red Armed Forces flag.  These were given out and air dropped to encourage defection of North Vietnamese and Viet Cong soldiers.  Instructions in Thai and Korean on the back side state enemy aliens are not to be harmed.  This was carried in the wallet of Bruce Langbein during his U.S. Army service in Vietnam and Cambodia with the 1st Cavalry.
