Brass Kerosene Lamp in two pieces. The top part is a brass cylinder that goes into a larger base unit. There are flower images on the base. Writing stamped on the top reads “The Angle Lamp CoN Patented in the U.S. and Foreign Countries.”
This is a piece from the Angle lamp company also known as the Angle Manufacturing Company. The company that was established in 1892 by Thomas Mara Fell. The company was known for its innovative design in kerosene lighting, including the unique angle burner placement that allowed for more direct downward illumination with reduced under shadow. They continued to make this type of lamp until 1929.
