Description

Black-and-white photograph of an unidentified group of children, most likely taken in Minnetonka Mills. There are ten children in the photograph ranging from about 5-8 years old. The girls are wearing dresses and dark cotton stockings or knee-length dark socks, while the boys are dressed in overalls or pants, long-sleeve shirts, and boots. The children are standing in front of a white clapboard house or building on what appears to be farmland. A small black-and-white dog is resting on the ground facing them. The photo was taken on a sunny spring or summer day; several of the children are squinting or shielding their eyes. Photo is undated but was likely taken in the late 1920s/early 1930s.
