Description

Long sleeve blazer with rounded collar and notched lapels made from wool woven into a blue and gray checked pattern. At regular intervals throughout, iridescent black seed beads have been sewn on in small ‘x’s. Six rounded, fabric wrapped buttons, with a beaded ‘x’ at the center, run down the left-hand side of the center opening corresponding to six buttonholes on the right-hand side of the center opening. Shoulder pads are present inside each shoulder. The lining is light blue. Label shows this was sold at Harold Department Store and designed by Hattie Carnegie.
