2.5" diameter pinback button promoting the Assumption Fun Fest of 1984.  Yellow  button with the images in red, white and black of festival events including music notes, a bingo card, a dunk tant, pop-ring toss, food, the word Auction.  Red text:  "Where's the Fun?  Assumptions 10th Annual Fun Fest '84".  Buttons were sold to promote the church festival, and raise start-up funds for the event.  Assumption Catholic Church was founded by both Bloomington and Richfield families and was built in an area then called “Bloomfield,” which encompassed sections of both Bloomington and Richfield.  It was the first Catholic Church built in either city. When additional Catholic Churches were built in Bloomington, Bloomington Catholics who lived northeast of 86th Street and Hwy 35W attended Assumption Church and many of their children attended the parish school.
