Ink blotter with advertising from Northwestern National Life Insurance Company. 6"x3.25".   Front side features three calendar pages from April, May and June 1939.  Green text on white: We thank you - for your recent premium payment.  It is a pleasure to serve you."  To the right a photograph of the NwNL Home Office building.    Below is white text on green: Northwestern National Life Insurance Company. O.J. Arnold, President.  Strong - Minneapolis, Minnesota - Liberal."   The back side is an absorbent paper for blotting ink pens.
