Description
The cape is brown with vertical columns of dark burgundy beads, bell sleeves, and a hook and eye front closure. There are very dark peacock feathers at the seams and collar, front opening, and hem. Fabric ties the cape below the bust. The cape was donated by Mary Berg of Minneapolis in 1966. Mrs. Berg is the daughter of Mrs. Carolyn C. Hewitt, who is the niece of Carolyn McKnight Christian.Mary Berg
