Description
Dress is an empire waist evening dress with a pink bottom and lace long sleeved top and a green satin belt. There are ruffles at the neck and wrists, and a zipper in the back.
Donated by Tamara Chaney Truer of Minneapolis. Tamara was a former board president at the Hennepin History Museum. She wore the dress in January 1969 at Nixon's innaugural ball in Washington DC. Her father, Buana Chaney, was an Indiana Representative.
