Description
"This cylindrical basket is 12 inches high and 11 inches in diameter. The coil weave is done in light shades of yucca with lines of ascending and spiraling dark figures made from devil's claw. It was made by the Papago Indians who originally made only flat baskets for food, but who, to accommodate the white trade, began making baskets like these, even to fitting them with their own cover."
There are 3 coils and 8 stitches per inch.
