Title

Nicollet County Commissioners

Description

Nicollet County Commissioners. B/W photo of several Nicollet County Commissioners. The back of the photo has a note that states that grandpa Altmann was the man in the center of the front row. The first name of the grandpa has been written poorly, but it looks like "Rubert." If that is correct, then that person would be Rubert Altmann, a son of Marcellus Altmann and his wife, Walburga Altmann of West Newton Township. "Rubert" is one of several spelling variants. Others include "Robert" and "Rupert." Also, "Marcellus" is only one of several spelling variants for Rubert's father.
