Description

W. E. X. Reunion. B/W photo of a reunion of members of St. Peter's W. E. X. organization members. The following is written on the back of the photo: "W. E. X. reunion, August 1921 (WEX was high school society)" and "Left to right: Florence Amundson Daniels (Mrs. J. W.), Josie Powell (?) Stone (Mrs. Marshall Stone), 3rd or 4th - Cordelia Brinkman Poncin?" and "Front: Lulu Ludcke Nelson (Mrs. J. Ben?), Carlson Hildebrandt." This label appears to mean that the women in the back row were Florence Daniels, Josie Stone, and three other women, of whom either the third or the fourth from the left was Cordelia Poncin. The women in front were Lulu Nelson and, most likely, Mabel Hildebrandt (taken from the Nicollet County marriage record of Mabel Carlson to Henry Hildebrandt in 1903).
