Waterman (William Waterman), 5 = unknown GAC student, 6 = Arthur Bittner, 7 = LaDue Amundson. Seated: 8 = Henry Ives, 9 = Oswald Jones, 10 = Melville Davis, 11 = Jim Bennett (mascot), 12 = George Case, 13 = John Thirlwall (see Nicollet County marriage records and E1479), George Ribble, 15 = Gene Cox (Eugene Cox), 16 = Alf Kayser (Alfred Kayser, manager), 17 = Edwin Ladd, 18 = Clare Gresham. Some of these students were members of the Class of 1898 or the Class of 1899. This suggests that the year "1895" that was written on the photo in place of "1898" is not correct.
