Davis Family. B/W photo of Albert R. Davis, Mathilda (Schultz) Davis (his 3rd wife), Melville Davis and children, Bernice Davis (Rogers), Sadie Davis (Ives Willett), Lillias Davis, and Orange L. (Ornie) Davis. It is not stated on the photo how to match the names with the faces, but a grandson of Melville Davis has provided this label:

Albert was born in the family cabin at Lake Emily in LeSueur Co. (4-26-1857), married Matilda “Tillie” Stark in St. Peter on 10-22-1878, and died in St. Peter, MN (5-15- 1919). Matilda was born in Port Washington, WI (8-25-1857) and died in St. Peter, MN (6-18- 1882). Their children were Bernice Hermone (6-22-1880) and Melville Runnels (12-3-1881). 

After Tille's death he married Sadie M. Smart on 6-1-1885 (1851-1887; died in St. Peter, MN) and had achild, Sadie Belle (1-6-1887). 

He later married Mathilda Schultz of Reedsburg, WI (11-11-1893) (2-3-1865 to 11-7-1944 in St. Peter, MN) and had a daughter, Lillias Albertina, and son, Orange Louis (8-17-1897). Albert and wives are buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, LeSueur Co., MN.
