Quane, John; Davis, Mel. B/W photo of John Quane, Mel Davis, and another man. The label suggests that John is the man in the middle and that Mel is the man at far right. John Quane was 12 years old on the 1895 St. Peter census, and was listed as the son of Mrs. Nora Quane. Mel Davis is most likely Melville R. Davis, who can be found on other photos in the museum's collection. Melville R. Davis (age 13) is listed in the 1895 St. Peter census as the son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert R.
